Support Ring
Support rings for standard applications are made of unalloyed steel according to Standard DIN 1624. For special applications, we manufacture support rings of acid resistance stainless steel according to Standard DIN 1.4301 or non-magnetic material.
Pressure Range
The short sealing lip allows a short lever arm, so that far higher pressure ranges can be covered without additional supprt disc, in contrast to normal radial seals with preloaded worm springs. Our standard Radial Shaft Seals are applicable up to 10 bar. For higher pressures please contact DOMSEL AG for technical support. For interacting pressures (negative pressure to positive pressure), the AC desing is used.
